OVERVIEW

REIMAGINING LEARNING MATERIALS FOR THE DIGITAL AGE

We’re experiencing a rapid change in the way we learn and consume information, with traditional learning media becoming fast outdated.

Regardless of your organisation’s chosen learning strategy, learning materials, in all its forms will play an ever increasing role, whether that’s in the classroom, on-the-job or on-the-go.

Technology is used in the learning process as a way of enhancing existing learning materials and teaching methods, in a bid to engage learners and deepen understanding. Explainer videos provide an opportunity to multiply the impact of your communication.

WHAT IS EXPLAINER VIDEO?

  • Simply put, explainer video is a short video that can be used to:
  • Explain the details of concept, product or service
  • Explain an idea or message
  • Explain a new procedure or process

HOW CAN EXPLAINER VIDEOS HELP REIMAGINE LEARNING AT THE WORKPLACE?

A good explainer video can convey a lot more information in a short span of time. It can transform long paragraphs of text into an engaging content, which can increase the uptake of information and learning in your organisation.

They are easy to share and people who won’t take the time to read will often watch a video.

There are endless possibilities of using explainer video in a learning experience, for example:

  • using an explainer video to prime learners with key concepts before attending a live training
  • using explainer video to introduce and market courses internally
  • reinforce learning in the workplace using weekly videos
  • using a series of explainer videos as a part of a learning campaign
